The oceanfront location of this hotel is simply amazing. Being so close to everything and having direct access to the beach down steep steps is a true bonus. The breathtaking views of the coast are unforgettable.
All our expectations were met and even exceeded.

Nothing.
It was undergoing renovation which was not disclosed at the time of booking. The hotel was a building site and a mess. It should have been closed and it is not fair to expect people to take their holidays in such conditions. I checked out within one hour.

Nothing
I booked for 3 nites at this hotel, however the hotel was not able to give me the 3 nites. The hotel called me up to say that they can only accomodate me for 2 nites. I booked a sea facing room, again the hotel could not meet this requirement . the check in staff and breakfast crew were unfriendly and very disorganised. The hotel markets itself as being on the beach, however what they fail to inform the guest is that the beach is reached by a series of very steep steps. And in the case of disabled persons they will not be able to reach the beach. It markets itself as a family resort but at the best of times this hotel will be classified as a budget stopover facility. The staff are not very accomodating to meet the guests requests. The beds are horrible. Infact I think I would have had a better sleep on the floor. My suggestion, give this hotel a skip its not worth it!!! The hotel has nothing going for it, if u want decent accomodation it will be better to stay at "The Views" hotel next door

The hotel has an amazing location, just a few steps down to the beach in an area close to Wilderness. The cleanliness is excellent, and the hotel facilities are great. The staff is always friendly and helpful, making my stay even more pleasant. the breakfast spread was fantastic, offering plenty of delicious options to choose from.
Was all great.

The staff were very friendly. The location was great
I booked through the Internet & was charged r750 per day. On arrival I saw that the advertised rate at the hotel was r550. On querying that, I was told that it was more expensive if you booked online. Usually you get a better rate if you book online! Also, breakfast was a problem, as used tables were not cleared when they were vacated. Items like fruit juices, cold meats, etc also ran out and were not replenished, unless requested by guests. There was a faulty electrical socket in the room.

The location of the hotel is perfect for beach lovers as it is just a few steps away from the beach. some rooms offer stunning views. the rooms are clean and the bathrooms are well-maintained. the staff is friendly and professional. They provide excellent service and go the extra mile to assist guests.
Some guests complained about the breakfast quality and the unclean tables in the breakfast area.

The location was perfect for a wekend break. View from the rooms beautifull.
The buffet dinner selection was very plain and not very tasty: Roast chicken, beef sausages, cocktail viennas, potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, rice and peas were not a very good choice for a buffet while there was a group of foreign visitors staying at the hotel. The fruit salad consisted mostly of apples. Red wine listed in wine list was not available.

We enjoyed our stay at the facility.
I thought they will offer to collect your luggage at the car. Were they supposed to explain what was included in the amount I paid? My expectation were a room with a view on the sea. the staff did not market the other offerings that could be available for the weekend.

Great View and Excellent breakfast arrangements, convenient location, superb sea view.
Poor hygiene standards and worn-out rooms, terrible service, and poor quality of food.

Staff very pleasant/helpful/efficient: a huge plus factor. Stunning location. Nice pub.
Stayed over at end of March - lift out of order. Four months later - still not working - not good enough. Last time breakfast was included in tariff - this time extra, and much scaled down. Tv reception in room very poor. Limited supper menu in pub.
